Industry 4.0 is about the significant transformation taking place in the way goods are produced and delivered – moving toward industrial automation and the flexible factory. Manufacturing Innovation Challenge is one of the most successful programs of CoE and has enabled manufacturing enterprises to co-create digital solutions working with deep-tech startups. The fifth edition of MIC saw participation of 80+ deep tech startups proposing solutions to three nominated Industry use cases in the areas of productivity improvement, efficiency improvement and resource optimization. During the conference, CoE will announce the winners of the challenge and the winning startups will have the presentation on the industry use cases.

Access to solution providers, networks of association and promotion to startups in enabling smart manufacturing

The state of Gujarat, a leading industrial state in India is committed towards promoting faster and inclusive growth in the technology sector. Our state’s growth is led by machinery driven production that has automation to produce more in less time with help of equipment, but on IT technology side we are still way behind. We need to pivot to technology led Industrial growth. The Vision is to create world class IT infrastructure, availability of high-skilled resources and innovation in Emerging Technologies. The new policy will further accelerate the presence of technology related companies in the state.
